Is it Time for you to Learn a new Language?

Nowadays, it's a well- known fact that the best CVs contain at least a second language on intermediate levels. 

One of the most important things for people around the world nowadays is knowledge. This generation is one of the most educated ones, and there’s no wonder why: due to the access to all the Internet resources, the availability of the material, the comfort of programs and apps so the learning process can happen pretty much anywhere with access to the Internet, there’s really no excuse to stay with a simple CV. Adding important activities to your professional profile early on is one of the best things you can do, as this is often the tipping point for two people postulating for the same position in a company. Although things like degrees, MBAs and such are incredibly sought-after, there’s one little thing that can completely change your life: another language.

Among the many things that help modern professionals reach higher in their field works is the knowledge of a second if not third language. The reason for this is that nowadays, there’s a never seen before amount of access to connections. Anyone with a computer can work from home in the modern professions, and this means that they can also work from almost anywhere in the world. To ensure that communication among people from different countries is effective, at least one of the parts needs to know the other’s language. Or know the basic and more used languages in the world, such as English, Spanish, German or Italian.  

If you are pursuing a degree with a chance of working abroad or thinking of getting a more international career, then picking a new language should be among the top spots on your list. Maybe enroll in some course in your university, or find an academy; even learning online it’s a great option for you! Ideally, you should at least know how to express yourself in another language, and I’m sure that once you learn one, you will be hooked on the feeling and will surely want to learn another. There’s a whole new market that will open before you once you are proficient and certified in another tongue!
